Nigerian artist Daniel Benson, also known as BNXN, took a swipe at fellow musician Davido in response to criticism from his fans.
BNXN, formerly called Buju, has been gaining attention for his unwavering support of Burna Boy amid the ongoing feud between Burna Boy and Davido.
On March 7, a Davido fan referred to BNXN as a “mid” singer in the Nigerian music industry. In response, BNXN threw shade at Davido, calling the fan “retard” and suggesting that Davido’s supporters shouldn’t speak about music. BNXN asserted his resilience, stating, “Nobody can bully me,” as he addressed the ongoing tensions between him, Davido, and their respective fan bases.
In a noteworthy development, Davido deleted a tweet from a year ago where he mentioned collaborating on a classic song with BNXN. Some fans speculated that the song might never be released.
When confronted by fans about the potential shelving of the collaboration, BNXN declared that he would independently release the song, emphasizing that he had written the entire track and would not succumb to bullying.
As the tensions between BNXN and Davido escalate, the dynamics of their relationship continue to captivate the Nigerian music scene.
