Massive Power Station Collapse Plunges Abuja And Kogi Into Darkness....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Some parts of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, and certain regions within Kogi State are presently grappling with power disruptions attributed to technical issues.
Affected by these interruptions are areas falling under the jurisdiction of the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC).
The AEDC recently notified its patrons residing in Zamani Estate, Abacha Road Mararaba, Ruga Juli, and other vicinities in Abuja about a technical malfunction occurring on the 33kv feeder k6 originating from the AT9 Karu Transmission Station, managed by the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN).
In an official statement, the AEDC acknowledged the inconvenience caused and assured customers of ongoing efforts by TCN maintenance crews to swiftly rectify the situation and restore power supply to these areas.
Meanwhile, the TCN had earlier announced scheduled maintenance activities on its TR3 45MVA and TR2 60MVA power transformers located within the 132/33kV Okene Transmission Substation. This maintenance operation was slated to occur from Tuesday to Wednesday, spanning from 10 am to 03 pm on each respective day.
Efforts are underway to address these technical challenges and alleviate the inconvenience experienced by residents in Abuja and parts of Kogi State.
