Military Action In Okuama: Edwin Clark Denies Accusations, Condemns Alleged Invasion....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Elder statesman Pa Edwin Clark has strongly criticized the recent military incursion into his residence in the Kiagbodo area and that of his father in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.

The military action was prompted by allegations that the community was harboring a suspect involved in the tragic killing of 17 military personnel in the Okuama community.

Speaking at a press conference in Abuja, the leader of the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) disclosed that his home in Kiagbodo was invaded by Nigerian Army officers on March 23, 2024. Despite this intrusion, Clark expressed his forgiveness after receiving an apology from a military commander.

The nonagenarian condemned the heinous murder of the 16 military personnel in Okuama on March 14, 2024, labeling the act as barbaric and stressing the need for appropriate punishment.

The Defence Headquarters has subsequently released the names of the 16 personnel killed during the peacekeeping mission in the area, including the Commanding Officer of 181 Amphibious Battalion, two majors, one captain, and 12 battalion personnel.
