Bode George To Tinubu: Nigerians Are Suffering Regional Politics Can Wait

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stalwart Bode George has urged President Bola Tinubu to revamp his economic team due to the ongoing hardships faced by Nigerians.
During his address titled “My Thoughts on The State of Our Country in the Last 25 Years: A Time to Chart A New Direction” in Lagos, George emphasized the need for urgent action, stating, “This is not the time to play party or regional politics. Nigerians have suffered enough and they want fast results.”
He further advised Tinubu to seek economic counsel from individuals across Nigeria, regardless of their geographical or political affiliations. George stressed, “This is the time for Tinubu to rejig his economic team. There are many Nigerians – from the North to the South – who can offer him economic advice that can turn this country around.”
In advocating for a reassessment of Nigeria’s value system and a restructuring of existing obstacles, George highlighted the potential for positive change if concerted efforts are made to address prevailing challenges.
