He urges them to exhibit professionalism and maintain complete impartiality throughout the election process.

In a statement released on Thursday, Miliki also highlighted the readiness of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), political parties, and candidates.

He emphasized the vital role of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in supporting the electoral process.

Miliki called on the security personnel deployed to Kogi State to perform their duties with professionalism, humanity, and diligence.

He stressed the importance of maintaining absolute neutrality in their conduct before, during, and after the election.

Additionally, he called on INEC, as the electoral umpire, to fulfill the expectations of the people and uphold their commitment to ensuring a free, fair, and acceptable election.

He emphasized the need for timely distribution of election materials to polling units and the provision of sufficient human and equipment backup.

Miliki encouraged voters to participate peacefully, without succumbing to intimidation, as voting is both a right and a responsibility.

He also urged candidates, political parties, and their supporters to adhere to the rules of the election, emphasizing that elections are contests where a winner will emerge.

Furthermore, he called on the media to maintain professionalism in their reporting and refrain from sensationalism.

Miliki advised all stakeholders, particularly security agents, to take note of specific local government areas considered as potential flashpoints and trigger zones based on their assessment.
