ADC Rocked! David Mark Admits Obi, Kwankwaso Exit Dealt Heavy Blow

The National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Senator David Mark, has acknowledged that the exit of former presidential candidates, Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso, has had an effect on the opposition coalition.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Mark made the remark on Wednesday while addressing members of the ADC Forum of former federal lawmakers at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.

He noted, however, that the departure of both politicians would motivate the party to intensify its efforts.
“There is no doubt that the exit of Obi and Kwankwaso has had an impact, but it will push us to work harder,” he said.

The ADC chairman further assured that the party remains focused on producing strong candidates capable of winning elections, expressing confidence that it would overcome its current challenges.

He urged party members to remain united, warning against internal divisions and factional disputes.
“We must stay united and avoid factionalisation. Our opponents are trying to create distractions through splinter groups, but we will overcome their tactics,” he stated.

Mark added that Nigerians are already showing support for the party and called on members to work collectively toward success.

Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso recently left the ADC to join the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) as part of their plan to pursue a joint presidential ticket ahead of the 2027 elections.
