Amaechi vs Tinubu 2027? ‘Ruthless Moves Underway To Stop Him’ – Party Insider Raises Alarm
A prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has alleged that political opponents of former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, are already plotting to derail his potential bid to unseat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections, should he emerge as the coalition’s candidate.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
In a statement issued in Port Harcourt, Eze said Amaechi’s active participation in the emerging coalition is unsettling his rivals, who feel threatened by his expansive political influence and grassroots appeal.
Eze noted that the coalition is evolving into a formidable political force, possibly under the banner of the All Democratic Alliance (ADA), aimed at challenging Tinubu’s hold on power in 2027.
According to him, individuals known for political backstabbing and opportunism are growing uneasy over Amaechi’s political resurgence following his defeat in the APC’s 2022 presidential primaries.
“In an interesting twist, Amaechi’s leading role in this coalition has rattled political lightweights who oppose his mass-based political style,” Eze remarked. “Many of his former critics no longer question his relevance—they now simply hope he doesn’t succeed.”
He added, “Some are even boasting that Tinubu’s grip on federal power will be enough to crush the coalition and block Amaechi’s path to victory.”
Eze claimed these threats are nothing more than desperate rhetoric from political loyalists trying to flatter their benefactors. He insisted that Amaechi’s supporters are individuals of proven integrity, vision, and leadership who cannot be swayed by money or influence.
