Peter Obi Is A Confused Politician Riding On Sentiments – Bwala Drops Bombshell

The presidential aide made the comments during an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, a clip of which was shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday.

“He (Obi) has yet to establish a clear political identity, which makes him come across as an opportunist,” Bwala said.

Further in the interview, Bwala praised the 2023 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential flagbearer, Atiku Abubakar, describing him as someone who would have made a great president.

However, he admitted that he now doubts Atiku would have outperformed President Bola Tinubu.

“Atiku would have been a great president,” Bwala said. “But whether he would have been greater than Asiwaju, I now have my doubts.”

Bwala also revealed that President Tinubu is open to opposing views, highlighting that even as a presidential aide, he disagreed with some key decisions, including the removal of fuel subsidy and the floating of the naira.

He said, “Even today, the President of Nigeria told me, ‘You’re free to disagree with any policy decision.’”
