His comments came in response to a viral video where 2Baba apologised to his wife, Natasha Osawaru, his children, and fans for previously stating that it’s difficult for a man to be sexually committed to only one woman.

In a series of posts on (formerly Twitter), Do2dtun pointed out that 2Baba is known for staying silent even during his biggest controversies, and the fact that he’s now frequently apologising raises red flags. He alleged that someone is exploiting the singer’s vulnerability for personal gain.

“I don’t like the version of 2Baba I’m seeing. Something feels off. He’s being forced to retract his words and apologise like a child. Someone is taking advantage of his fragility — whoever is behind that camera is heartless,” Do2dtun wrote.

He expressed discomfort with the apology video, questioning why 2Baba isn’t allowed to express his truth authentically.

“2Baba hardly ever responds to controversies. Even in his worst times, he remains silent. Now, he’s being made to speak out and apologise repeatedly. This isn’t just unusual; it’s concerning. He seems to be regressing emotionally, and I hate to see it.”

Do2dtun insisted that while 2Baba, like anyone, may have made personal missteps, his mistakes should not overshadow his legacy.

“We all make choices and mistakes, but that doesn’t erase the impact of what he’s contributed through his music. This current situation doesn’t sit right with me. Someone is clearly manipulating the narrative for their own interest.”

He further urged that 2Baba might require therapy or a professional evaluation, stating:

“At this point, I’ll say it plainly — 2Baba needs help. Real help. Therapy or something equally sincere. We tend to overlook people’s pain because we’re so quick to judge them.”

Do2dtun also lamented the absence of genuine friends around 2Baba, referencing the late Sound Sultan as the kind of presence the singer needs now more than ever.

“When you’re out of your comfort zone, fear and trauma can make anything feel normal — even when it’s not. That’s when true friends matter. That’s when 2Baba needs someone like Sound Sultan the most. It’s heartbreaking.”

He concluded with a haunting warning:

“This may not make sense to some people right now. But mark my words — give it a few years, and we’ll all be talking about this moment again.”
