APC Announces New Appointments For Sanwo-Olu, Akpabio, Philip Shaibu, And Others Ahead Of Ondo 2024 [Full Details]The All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State as the Chairman of the Ondo State National Gubernatorial Campaign Council. The Campaign Council consists of 306 members. Argungu stated that the inauguration of the National Campaign Council is scheduled for October 28, 2024, at 12 p.m. The event will be held at the International Event Centre (The Dome) in Akure, Ondo State.

Other prominent members of the Campaign Council include Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume, Minister of Budget Atiku Bagudu, Edo State Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu, and Senator Simon Bako Lalong, among others.
