Speaking during an appearance on Channels Television’s The Morning Show on Monday, APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, stated that the party remains open to embracing Kwankwaso or any other Nigerian who wishes to contribute to the government’s success.

“He is a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Anyone who wishes to join the APC is free to do so,” Morka affirmed.

Emphasizing the APC’s commitment to inclusiveness, Morka noted that the party’s doors remain open to individuals from all political backgrounds who are eager to support national development under President Tinubu.

“Our doors are open to those who want to work with us, who want to work with the President to realize the vision and goals of this administration,” he said.

Morka further described Kwankwaso as a respected figure in Nigerian politics, stressing that the party would not object if he decides to return.

“Kwankwaso is an elite and one of Nigeria’s eminent citizens. He has the right, as a political actor, to make choices — whether to return to the APC, join any other party, or remain with the NNPP,” Morka added.

Kwankwaso, who contested the 2023 presidential election under the NNPP, had previously been a member of the APC before defecting to the PDP in 2018 and later moving to the NNPP in March 2022.
