This update was confirmed by the Minister of Information, Mohammed Idris, during an interview with the BBC on Monday.

According to the Minister, the delay resulted from the late arrival of Dantata’s remains in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. He explained that the required documentation for transporting the body from the United Arab Emirates to Saudi Arabia is currently being processed by both the deceased’s family and the Nigerian government.
