The call was made during a press briefing at the APC Secretariat in Oke-Ado, Ibadan, where State APC Youth Leader, Comrade John Aremu, stated that young party members are actively mobilising to reclaim power from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Aremu criticised the current administration for what he described as poor governance and inefficiency, claiming it has stalled Oyo’s progress.

He said, “The present government has held Oyo State in bondage, and the people are exhausted. APC youths are ready to deliver the political change the state desperately needs.”

The youth leader warned that the ruling party should prepare for its eventual exit as the APC youth wing positions itself to take charge of the state’s leadership.

On party unity, Aremu praised the reconciliation between former governorship candidate Senator Teslim Folarin and the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, describing it as a significant boost for the APC’s cohesion ahead of the next election cycle.
