Asari Dokubo Explains Decision To Reject Pipeline Contract Offered By President TinubuFormer Niger Delta militant leader Asari Dokubo revealed on Tuesday that President Bola Tinubu approached him about a pipeline contract, which he ultimately declined.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

In an interview with Arise TV, Dokubo explained that he is not interested in personal gain, despite having invested significantly in Tinubu’s campaign during the 2023 presidential election. He emphasized that his primary concern is the success of Tinubu’s administration, especially in light of his opposition to the scrapping of the Ministry of Niger Delta.

“I met with President Bola Tinubu, both in private and publicly, and he asked me, ‘Are you interested in the pipeline?’ I responded that I’m not interested in the contract but I can support those involved in it to help your government succeed,” he stated. “I have never claimed to be seeking personal gain; my needs are very small.”

Dokubo’s comments follow the circulation of a video last week in which he accused President Tinubu of betrayal, asserting that he would align with the North instead of the South-West in future elections.
