In a New Year message, Atiku emphasized that the arrival of the new year symbolizes more than just the passage of time; it marks a new chapter full of opportunities.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader, in a personally signed statement released to Naija News on Tuesday, urged Nigerians to closely monitor the actions and decisions of their political leaders in 2025 to prevent the abuse of public office.

He also expressed gratitude to God for granting Nigerians the chance to witness another year.

“Atiku Abubakar extends his heartfelt congratulations to Nigerians for entering the year 2025,” the statement reads.

“Atiku affirms that this New Year heralds a critical moment of increased public awareness, where every Nigerian must stay vigilant, scrutinizing the actions and choices of their leaders. He stresses that the beginning of 2025 offers a unique chance to reshape national discourse and calls on citizens to actively engage in protecting democratic values.”
