Atiku’s Wife Breaks Silence, Declares Husband A Sellable Material Ahead Of 2027

Titi Abubakar, wife of African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, has urged Nigerian youths to support her husband in the 2027 presidential election, describing him as an experienced politician and philanthropist who is seeking office to serve Nigerians rather than enrich himself.

According to Bush Radio Academy, Titi made the appeal on Thursday during the ADC All Support Groups Town Hall Meeting in Abuja, where she encouraged young Nigerians to take an active role in the political process ahead of the 2027 election.

She described Atiku as a capable and experienced politician who would not need to learn the fundamentals of governance if elected president, noting that he had previously served as vice president and had spent years participating in national politics.

Titi also expressed confidence that Nigerians would want Atiku to remain in office beyond his first term if he delivers on his promises. She said his administration could also provide an opportunity for his deputy to gain the experience needed to eventually succeed him.

According to her, Atiku is a “sellable material” because of his political experience, philanthropic activities and understanding of government. She further insisted that her husband would not seek the presidency simply to benefit financially from public resources.

Titi urged young Nigerians to protect their votes during the 2027 election and reject attempts by politicians to influence their decisions with money or other inducements.

She warned that accepting money in exchange for votes could have consequences beyond the immediate election, arguing that such actions could affect the future of younger generations.

The ADC support groups meeting, which focused on grassroots mobilisation and participation ahead of the 2027 election, also featured calls for youths and other supporters to strengthen the party’s presence at polling units and ensure that votes cast for the ADC are properly protected.

Titi also criticised the state of the Nigerian economy and expressed concerns about what she described as weaknesses in the country’s constitutional order and rule of law.

She argued that the economic difficulties facing Nigerians require a change in leadership and said Atiku was prepared to address the challenges if elected.

The former vice president’s wife maintained that the ADC candidate’s experience would enable him to assume the responsibilities of the presidency without having to learn on the job, while urging Nigerians, particularly youths, to consider his candidacy ahead of the 2027 polls.
