Makinwa, who recently embraced motherhood, said she is still learning and adjusting but has come to believe that daily baths are unnecessary in the early months of a child’s life. She admitted she once criticized her sister for adopting a similar routine with her niece, but later observed the positive effects it had on the child’s skin health. This experience encouraged her to apply the same method with her daughter, Yaya.
The media star added that she plans to introduce more frequent baths when her child is between four and six months old, stressing that her choices are guided by caution and a desire to protect her baby’s sensitive skin.
