Intelligence sources reveal that the notorious bandits in Katsina and Zamfara states sent representatives to a meeting held in Gusami Village, located in the Birnin Magaji Local Government Area of Zamfara. The meeting was attended by kingpins including Usman Ruga Kachallah, Alaji Shingi, Lauwali Dumbulu, Shehu Bagiwaye, Sehu Karmuwal, and Jarmi Danda.
According to the sources, the kingpins were considering unifying their forces and pursuing peace with the government due to the severe casualties they suffered from military attacks. They expressed regret that their morale had been depleted by the continuous air strikes, which targeted their homes, families, livestock, and storage facilities.
