BBNaija Star Phyna Slams Carter Efe With ₦500 Million Lawsuit Over Sex Allegation

Big Brother Naija Level Up winner, Phyna, has initiated legal proceedings against Nigerian content creator and streamer Carter Efe, demanding ₦500 million in damages over allegations relating to her personal life.

The dispute followed a heated online exchange involving Davido’s associate and streamer, Davrel, who, during a public confrontation with the reality TV star, alleged that Carter Efe had made disparaging remarks about her.

Davrel also accused Phyna of making inappropriate advances toward him and claimed she had asked him to introduce her to his father.

The controversy escalated when Carter Efe, in a separate video shared on social media, claimed he had been sexually involved with the reality TV personality.

During the exchange, Phyna directly challenged the allegation, asking whether the claim was true. Carter Efe insisted it was and stated that he would provide evidence publicly.

In response, Phyna warned that both Carter Efe and Davrel would be hearing from her legal representatives.

Speaking during an Instagram Live session on Thursday night, the BBNaija star confirmed that legal action had been taken against the two men and revealed that they had been served with court documents.

Phyna also apologised to her supporters, admitting that recent events had prompted her to reassess how she responds to public criticism and online attacks.

According to her, although she had tolerated different forms of criticism over the years, allegations concerning her personal and intimate life crossed a line she was unwilling to ignore.

She explained that she had previously reacted emotionally to controversies but had now decided to pursue legal remedies instead.

“I want to apologise to my fans because I now realise that some of my reactions have not always helped matters. The events of the past few days have forced me to change. I’ve endured different kinds of criticism, but allegations about my personal and intimate life are where I draw the line,” she said.

Phyna added that her decision marked the end of responding to controversies through emotional outbursts, saying she would now allow the legal process to take its course.

She urged Carter Efe and Davrel to check their emails and WhatsApp messages, stating that both had been officially served with legal notices.

Shortly after her announcement, Carter Efe released a video confirming that he had received a ₦500 million lawsuit from the reality TV star.
