Governor Alia, expressing the gravity of the matter, stated, “We are in government, and I don’t want anything that will jeopardize the security of Benue State.” He unequivocally emphasized that his administration would not tolerate any disruptive activities, regardless of the individuals or groups involved. Stressing the significance of Benue as a collective entity, Governor Alia asserted, “Benue is larger, bigger, and older than any individual.”
