In a statement issued on Thursday and made available to newsmen in Abuja, Adejoh described the current crisis within the party as regrettable, particularly as the PDP prepares to elect new executives for the next four years.

He characterized the disagreements as internal disputes that can be resolved if members put the party’s interests above personal concerns. Adejoh called on key party leaders, including Chief Samuel Ortom, Senator Gabriel Suswam, Senator Patrick Abba Moro, Rt Hon Titus Uba, and Sir John Ngbede, to collaborate and address the issues, drawing on their past successes in resolving conflicts.

“I urge the party leaders to unite and address the disputes among members, as they have effectively done before,” Adejoh stated.

He emphasized the importance of using the PDP’s established internal dispute resolution mechanisms, which have proven effective in past conflicts, to find a lasting solution to the crisis in the Benue State chapter.

Adejoh also advised members to avoid making inflammatory statements that could exacerbate the situation as the party works on rebuilding in preparation for the 2027 general elections.
