Bobrisky’s situation remains precarious following his arrest by the NIS at the Seme Border on Monday. According to NIS Public Relations Officer Deputy Controller Kenneth Udo, Bobrisky was detained as a “person of interest” and has been undergoing interrogation since then.

As of now, there is no official word on whether Bobrisky will face charges or be released once his health improves.

In related news, a Federal Government panel investigating claims that Bobrisky did not serve his full six-month prison term recently submitted its findings to the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo. The panel, led by Permanent Secretary Dr. Magdalene Ajani, found no evidence to support the allegations but noted that Bobrisky received certain privileges during his incarceration.

Bobrisky’s current legal issues stem from his arrest while allegedly attempting to leave the country. He remains in NIS custody, with no clear indication of what lies ahead.
