Reports suggest that this letter could be activated if Aiyedatiwa violates any of the resolutions established during the peace meeting with state stakeholders.

During the first post-Abuja meeting plenary session, Speaker Oladiji clarified that there was no resolution stipulating Aiyedatiwa would assume the role of acting governor, emphasizing that the existing state of affairs would persist.

Oladiji, along with the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) Oladunni Odu, the State Chairman of the party, Ade Adetimehin, and himself, has been tasked with ensuring the comprehensive implementation of the resolutions.

In addressing the assembly, Speaker Oladiji stated, “Dear colleagues, please allow me to formally welcome you to this Hallowed Chamber following the recent harrowing and tortuous political crisis that shook the entire state to the marrow.

Without any doubt, I believe we all acted in line with our mandate as representatives of the people. To dispel any confusion.

I present to the good people of Ondo State the resolutions reached after the meeting with representatives of the Ondo State House of Assembly.

State Executive Council members, National Assembly members from Ondo State, and the State Chairman of our party with His Excellency, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
