Breaking: Full List Of Winners Emerge From Hotly Contested By-Elections In Kano, Rivers And Other States

According to results released so far, the All Progressives Congress (APC) secured the majority of the seats, while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) recorded a key victory in the Rivers South-East Senatorial District.

In Enugu State, APC candidate Ikeje Asogwa was declared winner of the Enugu North Senatorial District by-election. He polled 162,360 votes, defeating PDP contender Chief Nestor Ezeme, who scored 9,299 votes. The election was conducted following the death of Senator Okey Ezea on November 18, 2025.

APC wins in Kebbi and Kano

In Kebbi State, APC candidate Rabiu Garba Aiki emerged victorious in the Zuru State Constituency by-election with 4,887 votes, while Labour Party candidate Aliyu Galadima Muhammad polled 168 votes.

In Kano State, APC’s Rabiu Shuaibu won the Dawakin Kudu/Warawa Federal Constituency by-election after securing 35,356 votes. He defeated Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate Lawal Garba-Haruna, who got 268 votes, and Labour Party’s Abubakar Yahaya-Muhammad, who scored 98 votes.

PDP wins Rivers South-East

In Rivers State, PDP candidate Olaka Nwogu was declared winner of the Rivers South-East Senatorial District by-election, polling 47,961 votes against APC’s Osar Erewari, who garnered 1,647 votes.

APC also records wins in Ondo and Nasarawa

In Ondo State, APC candidate Dayo Faduyile won the Ondo South Senatorial District by-election with 68,474 votes, defeating Allied Peoples Movement candidate Adeolu Akinwunmi, who scored 1,411 votes.

In Nasarawa State, APC candidate Danladi Envulu-anza emerged winner of the Nasarawa North Senatorial by-election with 45,362 votes. Labour Party candidate Labaran Maku polled 12,931 votes, while PDP’s Emmanuel David Ombugadu scored 11,570 votes.
