This was revealed in a statement issued on Monday by JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin.
According to the statement, the registration process is exclusively for candidates with degrees, diplomas, or A-level certificates who wish to secure admission into their preferred universities.
JAMB also emphasized the need for applicants to meet all admission requirements, warning that strict penalties await those who provide false information.
“The commencement of DE sales follows the successful completion of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) application process, which concluded on Saturday, March 8, 2025.
“During the UTME registration period, JAMB recorded a total of 2,030,627 applicants for the 2025 UTME, alongside 200,115 for the Mock-UTME and 630 trial mock applicants.
“A dedicated committee will be responsible for verifying all submitted advanced-level qualifications, and any fraudulent documents will result in prosecution. Furthermore, institutions are urged to authenticate certificates before granting admission.
“Registration for DE can only be carried out at JAMB Professional Registration Centres (PRC),” the statement added.
