The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Board’s Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin.
Benjamin stated that candidates who participated in the mop-up examination can now access their results through JAMB’s approved result-checking platforms.
He explained that the release followed the successful completion of the mop-up exercise.
“Candidates who participated in the examination can check their results through the Board’s established result-checking channels,” he said.
He further noted that the Board will now proceed to the next phase of the admission process, beginning with the ranking of candidates.
“Following the successful conclusion of the mop-up exercise and the release of the results, the Board will commence the ranking of candidates. Thereafter, the printing of results for admission purposes is expected to begin before the weekend,” he added.
JAMB also appreciated candidates and other stakeholders for their patience and cooperation throughout the process, noting that the exercise was conducted smoothly.
According to the Board, the successful conduct of the mop-up examination reflects its commitment to ensuring fairness for candidates who experienced difficulties during the main UTME.
The mop-up examination was held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, as a final opportunity for candidates who were originally verified but unable to sit for the main UTME due to technical and biometric challenges.
These challenges reportedly included biometric verification issues, technical glitches, and other disruptions at some examination centres.
The main 2026 UTME took place between April 16 and April 25, 2026.
With the release of the mop-up results, affected candidates are now expected to check their scores and proceed with the next stages of the admission process.
