In Dutse metropolis, the Petroleum Products Task Force, under the leadership of Col. Muhammad Alhassan (rtd), has taken action against the IMG filling station for alleged malpractices. Col. Alhassan, while heading the inspection team, revealed that the task force, appointed by Governor Umar Namadi, was tasked with overseeing filling station operations, particularly in challenging times.

During the inspection, the committee made the decision to close down the IMG filling station based on accusations of providing customers with 1.5 liters less than what was paid for in every 10 liters. Col. Alhassan emphasized the committee’s dedication to safeguarding the rights of customers and ensuring fair business practices.

Furthermore, he called upon filling station operators to uphold integrity, urging them to consider the sanctity of their business and regain the trust and confidence of customers through ethical practices, while also invoking the fear of Almighty Allah for guidance.
