Regrettably, his lifeless body was discovered less than 24 hours later along Mbutu Community road in the Aboh-Mbaise Local Government Area.
The statement conveyed that Commissioner of Police, Danjuma Aboki, vehemently condemned the tragic incident, pledging that the command would exhaust all avenues to apprehend the perpetrators and ensure they face the full extent of the law.
To this end, the police commissioner established an investigative team to track down those responsible for the appalling crime.
Appealing for public cooperation, he urged citizens to stay calm and provide any valuable information that could aid in the apprehension of the suspects.
Ochulor’s demise follows closely on the heels of the assassination of Chiedoziem Anyanwu, the ward chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Ife/Akpodim/Chokoneze Ward within the same Ezinihitte Mbaise LGA, who was killed in the presence of his wife just a few days earlier.
