During an appearance on the Arise TV Morning Show, Beke cautioned Wike against repeating the alleged destruction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) within the APC. Beke emphasized the need for Governor Fubara to execute the mandate bestowed upon him by the people of Rivers State.

According to Beke, proper processes should be followed when lawmakers decide to switch parties, starting from their units. He questioned the chaos that arises when individuals sidestep established procedures, emphasizing the importance of adherence to governance protocols.

Beke urged those disinterested in governance to abstain from deceiving the public and advised them to follow the proper channels if they intend to switch political affiliations. He underscored the significance of allowing Governor Fubara to govern, emphasizing that the focus should be on effective governance rather than political party dynamics.

Expressing concerns about a potential return to the crises that characterized Wike’s previous eight-year tenure, Beke appealed for peace and stability in Rivers State. He urged Wike to concentrate on his responsibilities in Abuja and refrain from causing disruptions in the state, questioning whether Wike intended to replicate the alleged destruction he inflicted upon the PDP within the APC. Beke concluded by highlighting the exodus of investors due to ongoing unrest and emphasized the urgency of restoring peace for the state’s economic well-being.
