Addressing attendees at the Homex Exhibition, themed “Sustainability of Home Interior Design in West Africa,” Agbaza stressed the indispensability of government backing, asserting that the private sector alone cannot achieve this goal. He drew attention to the successful models of foreign companies from China, Turkey, and India, currently exhibiting at Homex, emphasizing the support they receive from their home governments.

Agbaza explained, “If Nigeria does the same for us by sponsoring private firms to participate in foreign exhibitions, it will enhance our feasibility and product market penetration.” He pointed out the presence of international exhibitors from Turkey, China, and India, attributing their success to government support and incentives.

The organizer of Homex and Managing Director of Atlantic Exhibition Ltd, Mr. Paul Olugbade, highlighted the exhibition’s focus on home interiors, interior design, and decorations. He described it as an international platform that brings manufacturers together with distributors and local representatives, fostering engagement, networking, and partnerships across borders.
