Addressing enthusiastic party supporters, Melaye pledged to foster industrialization and tap into the abundant mineral resources within the state.
He expressed his intention to boost internally generated revenue through tourism, aiming to attract investors to the state.
Melaye asserted his qualifications, experience, education, and exposure, positioning himself as the most suitable candidate among the 18 contenders vying for the state governorship.
He stated, “I will not be defined by religious, ethnic, or regional affiliations; I will govern with the fear of God.”
Furthermore, Melaye promised to rectify the situation for those dismissed during the present government’s screening exercise.
