Bribery Backlash: Ehie’s Wanted Status For Refusing To Impeach Fubara....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Rivers State, Edison Ehie, has alleged that he was offered a bribe to support the impeachment of Governor Siminalayi Fubara. However, he refrained from disclosing the identities of the individuals who made the offer.

During a rally in the Ahoada East area of the state, the former factional Speaker of the State House of Assembly revealed that he was approached to participate in Fubara’s impeachment but declined the proposition.

Ehie asserted that his refusal to comply with their demands led to a conspiracy against him, resulting in his being declared wanted.

He stated, “They summoned me, your fellow citizen, to partake in the governor’s impeachment, and I explicitly declined. They offered me a considerable sum, which I turned down. Subsequently, due to my refusal, they colluded and labeled me a fugitive.”
