Retired Air Vice Marshal Monday Morgan, leading the Benue Rebirth Movement (BRM), has urged Senate Minority Leader Abba Moro to champion a constitutional amendment advocating for rotational governorship in states. In a statement by BRM’s Director of Media, Joseph Ode, AVM Morgan conveyed these expectations during a visit to Senator Moro by a BRM delegation. The purpose of the visit was to congratulate Moro on his promotion to Senate Minority Leader and to seek his collaboration and leadership in advancing the BRM initiatives.
AVM Morgan emphasized the importance of Senator Moro’s role in securing constitutional amendments for rotational state governorship among the three senatorial districts in states and the establishment of Apa State. Morgan expressed confidence that once these goals were achieved, the mission of BRM would be fulfilled.
Congratulating Senator Moro on his recent elevation and academic achievement, AVM Morgan assured him of the support of the people of Benue South District in realizing their aspirations. In response, Senator Moro pledged to continue providing quality leadership and representation for the benefit of Benue South, Benue State, and Nigeria as a whole.
The BRM delegation included notable figures such as AVM Morgan (retd.), Mrs. Patricia Kupchi, Kelvin Peters, Compt. Matthias Abutu (retd.), Elder Ada Egahi, Egbiri Idaa, Jacob Ajene, Gen. Gabriel Ode (retd.), Joseph Ode, James Agbaji, Chief Noah McDickson, Gabriel Olofu, Prof. David Salifu, Prof. Otor Okwu, Dan Atayi, Dr. Ralph Otobo, and Francis Ijiga.
