Adding more fuel to the fire, Shaibu was recently embroiled in accusations of theft involving a watch worth over two hundred million naira from a top APC chieftain in Edo. In what many attendees described as a blatant display of disregard, there was no seat reserved for the Deputy Governor during the event. As a result, Shaibu found himself in the unexpected position of having to source a chair from another aisle of the hall.
