A woman’s alleged attempt at car theft took an unexpected turn, leaving her in a compromising position when her pants snagged on a gate, rendering her half-naked.
The incident unfolded as the would-be thief scaled a fence, only to find her jogging pants caught on the metal gate, leaving her unable to free herself from the fabric entanglement.
Struggling to maintain her balance atop the fence, she faced the dilemma of either risking a fall or sliding off sans pants. Video footage of the mishap suggests that she either wasn’t wearing undergarments or lost them in the struggle with her tracksuit pants.
Upon dropping to the ground, the woman improvised makeshift trousers using the arms of her sweater to cover her exposed lower half.
The scene of the botched burglary was captured outside a luxurious residence in Maipú, near Santiago, Chile, in the early hours of Tuesday, May 7.
Reports indicate that the woman had an accomplice who hastily drove away, abandoning her upon witnessing the unfolding spectacle. While she purportedly scoped out parked cars for valuables, she left the scene empty-handed.
Her escape was facilitated when security guards changed shifts shortly after the incident, allowing her to flee undetected. It remains uncertain whether law enforcement authorities are actively pursuing her.
