CDCFIB Shortlists Applicants For Physical Screening – Check What Comes Next
The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced that applicants who participated in the 2024/2025 recruitment exercise for four paramilitary agencies will proceed to the physical screening and document verification stage.
The board disclosed this in a statement signed by its Secretary, Maj Gen Abdulmalik Jibril (retd.), on Friday.
Applicants have been directed to check their recruitment status via the official CDCFIB recruitment portal using the application number issued to them during registration.
Those shortlisted will be required to upload their credentials and choose a convenient date and venue for the physical screening exercise.
The board also urged candidates to carefully follow all instructions provided on the portal throughout the process.
The recruitment exercise covers the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigerian Correctional Service and Federal Fire Service.
Meanwhile, the CDCFIB warned applicants against fraudsters who may attempt to extort money from them by falsely claiming to have the ability to influence the recruitment process.
According to the board, candidates should not make payments to anyone in exchange for shortlisting, document uploads, venue allocation, access to screening centres or final selection.
Applicants were further advised to ignore fake recruitment messages, suspicious links and individuals who falsely present themselves as officials of the board.
The recruitment process began with online applications in July 2025, followed by a Computer-Based Test conducted in November 2025.
