This incident occurred just hours after a deadly explosion on Karu-Nyanya Road, which caused a massive fire that destroyed several vehicles and led to the deaths of about 10 people, with many others injured.
In related news, Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy, clarified reports regarding the truck involved in the explosion. He stated that the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) cylinder in the truck did not explode as initially claimed. Onanuga took to his official account on Thursday morning to debunk these reports, confirming that the CNG cylinder was recovered intact and did not cause the tragic explosion on Wednesday night.
