Chief Of Army Staff Pledges Swift Action To Rescue Abducted Kaduna Students

The Chief of Defence Staff, Christopher Musa, declared on Monday his unwavering determination to pursue terrorists and their backers responsible for abducting students in Kaduna State.

Musa provided assurance that Nigerian Army troops were actively engaged in efforts to rescue the students recently taken in Kuriga, Kaduna State.

Addressing Governor Uba Sani during his visit to the state’s Government House, the Army Chief issued a stern warning that terrorists would find no respite in Kaduna or across Nigeria.

Musa stated, “We have come to reaffirm our commitment that we are actively addressing this issue; our troops are mobilized to ensure the swift rescue of these abducted students. They are the future leaders of our nation, and we cannot allow them to endure this trauma.”

He empathized with the parents who have been enduring sleepless nights, emphasizing solidarity in the quest for resolution. Musa assured the Governor, “We are collaborating closely to fortify the security of Kaduna, the Northwest region, and indeed, the entire nation. Those who have vowed to disrupt our peace will face consequences. We will relentlessly pursue them, wherever they hide, and we call upon those funding them to desist. Anyone obstructing peace in Kaduna or Nigeria will face justice.
