A Chinese national, identified as Gz Zhen, has been apprehended by the Abia State Police Command on suspicion of fatally pushing a female employee, Ocheze Munachi Ogbonna, following her reported rejection of his advances.

Zhen, who holds the position of manager at Inner Galaxy, a steel manufacturing firm in Abia State, allegedly pushed Munachi from a crane at the company premises, resulting in her tragic demise.

After news of her death circulated, members of the community demanded the arrest of Zhen.

Maureen Chinaka, the Public Relations Officer of the Abia State Police Command, confirmed the suspect’s arrest, stating that investigations into the incident are underway.

Meanwhile, friends of Miss Ogbonna have taken to social media to express their grief, remembering her as a vibrant and lively young woman.
