It was gathered that Seyi Law had accused Mr Macaroni of ingratitude, reigniting a long-standing feud between the two entertainers. In a video shared on his X (formerly Twitter) page on Friday, Seyi Law hinted that Mr Macaroni had been dishonest, saying, “You can lie to everyone, but you can’t lie to yourself. The truth will reveal itself in due time.”

Responding on his own X handle, Mr Macaroni dismissed the accusations, calling Seyi Law’s remarks “mischievous,” especially in relation to political affiliations.

“Booda Seyi, stop this dance of shame! Claiming I have issues with you because of your support for APC is misleading. I have no problem with you for backing APC,” he wrote.

According to Mr Macaroni, his disagreement with Seyi Law stems from what he called Seyi’s “uncivilized conduct” during and after Nigeria’s last general elections.

“I still have good relationships with many APC supporters. You are the exception because of how you conducted yourself during and after the elections—this video proves it,” he added.

Mr Macaroni also accused Seyi Law of persistently trying to paint him as ungrateful. “You’ve tried several times to tag me an ingrate, and I’ve always kept quiet out of respect. But now that you’re spreading lies and calling me the liar, I have to speak up,” he said.

He went on to debunk claims that their first collaboration was arranged through Seyi Law’s cousin. “At no point did I ask Tolu (your cousin) to beg you for a collab. You reached out with an idea, and we executed it together,” he clarified.

While expressing gratitude for the collaboration, Mr Macaroni condemned what he described as a “false narrative” being used to either promote Seyi Law’s show or mobilize APC trolls.

“I appreciated it then, and I still do. But I won’t stand by while you spin lies just to hype your show or send APC trolls after me—even though I’m used to their attacks,” he concluded.
