Fanwo emphasized the state’s alignment with efforts at both federal and sub-national levels to steer the nation’s economy in the right direction. He praised President Bola Tinubu’s dedicated efforts in this regard, highlighting positive outcomes from fiscal and monetary policies and additional economic incentives.

“Agriculture, industrialization, infrastructure, education, and healthcare are pivotal areas receiving significant attention,” Fanwo affirmed, underscoring the state’s commitment to integrating these national initiatives.

He further detailed ongoing investments in agriculture, education, healthcare, and infrastructure within Kogi State, aimed at alleviating economic challenges exacerbated by years of mismanagement.

Fanwo expressed concern over proposed protests, suggesting they undermine ongoing national rebuilding efforts and risk destabilizing progress achieved since the #EndSars period. He condemned any attempt to incite violence under the guise of protest, urging responsible citizenship in supporting government initiatives.

Highlighting intelligence reports, Fanwo cautioned against opposition elements seeking to exploit public discontent for personal gain, portraying protests as a guise for sowing discord.

He concluded by affirming Kogi citizens’ decision to abstain from protests, instead pledging solidarity with President Tinubu’s efforts to bolster economic recovery and protect the interests of vulnerable populations.

“We are heartened by reports of widespread support among our citizens for the President’s economic agenda,” Fanwo remarked proudly, emphasizing Kogi’s resilience against destabilizing influences.
