The confirmation initially came from a seemingly unlikely source – Adewale Adeleke, the elder brother of the Afrobeat sensation. While he didn’t delve into specifics, a cryptic tweet reading, “We Thank God” was all fans needed to connect the dots. The rumors were further fueled by a recent track from Davido titled ‘In The Garden’, where he hinted at his wife being ‘Mama Ibeji’ (mother of twins). This was supplemented by a tweet from Davido suggesting that he was anticipating the best week of his life.

But the definitive confirmation came from Nigerian clergyman, Pastor Gospel Agochukwu of Shekinah Arena International Ministries. Taking to Facebook, he shared a screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation in which the birth of the twins – a boy and a girl – was revealed, corroborating the prophecy he made last year about the couple having twins.
