Controversy Brews as Lawyer Calls For DNA Verification Before Children Get Birth Certificates

Activist Deji Adeyanju has proposed that DNA testing be made compulsory before birth certificates are issued to newborns in Nigeria as a measure to curb paternity fraud.

In a post on X, Adeyanju urged the National Assembly to enact a law to this effect.
