According to reports from CrossRiverWatch, the victim’s mother routinely entrusted her son to the care of a neighbor who operated the laundry shop while she attended to her market duties, particularly on Mondays and Fridays. However, tragedy struck on this particular day when the mother returned to collect her child, only to find him missing. Her frantic search led her to the laundry shop, where a harrowing scene awaited her—her son, motionless, amidst a pool of blood.
Eyewitnesses recounted the anguish of the mother’s discovery, with one describing how her cries alerted neighbors who rushed to the scene. Among the unsettling details, a knife was discovered nearby, hinting at the gruesome means by which the child met his untimely end.
