Though the event was understated, it drew a range of notable figures from northern Nigeria, including former Vice President Namadi Sambo, former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso, APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, and former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai.
