Davido Makes Shocking Family Revelation: Aliko Dangote Drove My Mom Home From Hospital

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed that his relationship with billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote dates back to his childhood, saying the industrialist was connected to his family from the time he was born.

The singer made the revelation while speaking about Dangote’s lifestyle and the financial advice he has received from the billionaire over the years.

According to Bush Radio Academy, Davido recalled that Dangote was involved in a memorable moment surrounding his birth, revealing that the businessman drove his mother home from the hospital after she gave birth to him.

“Aliko Dangote drove my mom home from the hospital when she gave birth to me,” Davido stated.

The singer further disclosed that Dangote has continued to offer him financial advice, particularly urging him to develop the habit of saving and managing his wealth carefully.

Davido said the billionaire has repeatedly reminded him to be financially disciplined whenever they meet.

“Anytime I see him, he still tells me, ‘David, save your money!’” the singer revealed.

According to the Afrobeats star, Dangote’s advice did not begin after he achieved fame and financial success in the music industry. He indicated that the businessman had been giving him similar counsel from a young age.

Davido also shared his observation about the lifestyles of extremely wealthy individuals, suggesting that their enormous fortunes do not necessarily prevent them from living relatively ordinary lives.

“Billionaires are the most normal people,” he said.

The singer’s comments have drawn attention to the longstanding connection between the Adeleke family and Dangote, while also highlighting the financial wisdom the billionaire has repeatedly shared with him.

Davido has previously spoken about Dangote’s relationship with his father and described the businessman as a close associate of the Adeleke family.
