Amid the ongoing controversy over Regina’s real age, Doris took to Instagram to insist that she had personally verified the information.
According to her, she has seen Regina’s birth certificate and international passport, both of which confirm the actress’s true age.
She wrote:
“Only a mother can tell you when she gave birth to her child. I’ve seen Regina’s birth certificate and international passport. Gina was born on October 10, 2001. She got married sometime in May 2019 — she was 17 plus when she married.”
Meanwhile, Regina Daniels has opened up about why she never filed for a divorce from her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko.
In a recent Instagram post, the mother of two clarified that there was no legal marriage between them, noting that no court documents were ever signed.
She explained that the absence of a formal marriage made it impossible to seek a legal divorce, despite her desire to walk away much earlier.
Regina said she had given her youth, energy, and career opportunities to the relationship but now wanted complete freedom from control.
She concluded that love and marriage cannot be forced, urging the public to respect her decision to move on with her life.
