Drama Erupts As Carter Efe Slams D’banj Over Alleged Car Gift Dispute

The controversy began after a video surfaced online showing Carter Efe claiming that the vehicle unveiled at a public event was not actually given to him, contrary to public perception.

According to him, he was later informed that he would need to pay ₦65 million before taking possession of the car.

Carter Efe expressed shock over the development, insisting that he never requested a car from anyone in the first place.

He also claimed that the situation was different from what was presented to the public during the highly publicised event.

The content creator further accused media personality Sunday Are of being dishonest in his dealings with him, alleging that he was discouraged from speaking out about the matter.

He suggested that the advice given to him at the time was intended to prevent him from publicly revealing what transpired.

Describing the situation, Carter Efe referred to the car as an “audio” gift — a slang term implying that something was announced but not actually delivered.

“They didn’t give me any car. Sunday Are pretended to be advising me, but he was actually trying to stop me from exposing the truth,” he said.

“They told me I would have to pay ₦65 million before I could get the car. I didn’t beg anyone for a car. D’banj deceived me. That car is an ‘audio’ car.

“If I had known, I would have spoken earlier. I feel disappointed by how everything turned out,” he added.
