Edo State PDP Official Narrates Terrifying Encounter With Kidnappers....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Edo State’s Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chapter Chairman, Tony Aziegbemi, has courageously shared the trials he faced during his recent captivity.

Following a late-night meeting with Governor Godwin Obaseki on Friday, March 15, 2024, Aziegbemi was abducted by six armed individuals upon his return home.

After enduring eleven days in captivity, Aziegbemi was finally liberated on March 26, 2024, although the exact ransom paid remains undisclosed despite the initial demand of N500 million.

During a gathering at his Benin City residence for Easter celebrations, attended by Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu and other friends and associates, Aziegbemi reflected on the difficult moments he faced while held captive.

Expressing his fervent hope that no one else would ever undergo such a traumatic experience, Aziegbemi remarked, “I would not wish anyone, even my worst enemies, to go through the ordeal I had in the kidnappers’ den.”

Deputy Governor Shaibu, expressing gratitude for Aziegbemi’s safe return, emphasized his close relationship with the chairman and his family, even revealing his role as the godfather to Aziegbemi’s twin babies.

The visit served not only as a celebration of Easter but also as a heartfelt acknowledgment of Aziegbemi’s resilience and the importance of unity in overcoming adversity.
