According to a statement released over the weekend, the selection process drew 8,591 public nominations and considered over 200 creators across various digital platforms, highlighting the increasing demand for clear and accessible information on Nigeria’s fiscal and tax reforms.

The committee said that the Top 20 were chosen based on the size of their combined followership across major platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and (formerly Twitter). The final ranking followed several weeks of public submissions.
